Every brain is unique. Concussion management should be too.
From the moment student athletes discover the joy of competing, their world is filled with possibility. Their achievements await them. Their futures are bright.
Proactively protecting an athlete’s future in case of a concussion includes a baseline ImPACT® test
before they hit the field or the court. In less than an hour, you’ll have an assessment of the athlete’s unique brain profile so in case of a concussion, you’re prepared.
A baseline test establishes the standard that’s normal for an individual’s brain. Since every person is unique, these attributes are unique as well. This “brain fingerprint” defines the athlete’s “normal” that is distinctive to him or her.
The information from ImPACT® testing helps determine when and if the athlete is ready to resume regular activities, including athletics.
